Urban Pit Stop Limited is a brand new West-End based retail outlet trading under an increasingly well-recognised brand name. We are looking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven, positive and life-loving individual.
Due to demand from customers, we are looking to fill an exciting position for a spa/shop floor manager. The individual must be a senior therapist with at least three years experience and must have knowledge of many traditional Japanese therapies. These may have been gained either studying in a recognised institution or through the traditional Japanese manner of studying within a salon or with a master.
Applicants need not be Japanese as this wonderful opportunity is open to people with vision and in possession of an entrepreneurial spirit. This position offers fantastic potential for growth and development.
Salary will be commensurate with experience , but will range from £22,500 to £27,5000 per annum(OTE)
Other benefits include paid lunch, shares in the company after one year of service and four-week paid holiday
Relevant Qualifications in beauty therapy and massage (holistic, on-site)NVQ Level 3 or higher, to include:
Massage therapies( Aromatherapy, Indian head, Swedish, Lymphatic drainage, etc.)
Facial
Waxing
Brow Shaping ton include threading
Manicure and Pedicure
Reflexology
Shiatsu, preferred not essential
Reiki
Amma Therapy
Anything additional would be an advantage

Urban Pit Stop is a brand new Soho based retail outlet looking to employ 7 highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven, positive, life-loving individuals. The 7 very exciting positions we need to fill are for one experienced therapist and 6 recently qualified practitioners. This wonderful opportunity is open to people with vision and in possession of an entrepreneurial spirit, as all positions on offer have fantastic potential for growth and development.
UPS people need:
To be Competent:
This means they should have the delicate balance of both technical skills and human/interpersonal skills.
Technical skills:
Lead Therapists (Salary £22,500 - £25,000):
o Minimum of 2 years experience in a range of therapies and cross trained in:
+ Massage Therapies (Aromatherapy Massage & Full Body)
+ Facial
+ Waxing
+ Brow Shaping
+ Manicure & Pedicure
+ Any additional skills are an advantage!
(NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent)
Experience in:
+ Salon Management/Spa Management (Advantage)
+ IT Skills
+ Resource Deployment
+ Cash Handling
6 Practitioners (Salary Hourly: £7 - £12/hour depending on experience):
o Relevant qualifications in Beauty Therapy & Massage (holistic , on-site) NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent, to include:
+ Massage Therapies (aromatherapy, Indian head, Swedish, lymphatic drainage, etc.)
+ Facial (Preferred)
+ Waxing
+ Brow Shaping to include threading
+ Manicure & Pedicure
+ Wet Shave
+ Shiatsu (preferred, not essential)
+ Reflexology
+ Reiki
+ Amma Therapy
+ Anything additional is an advantage
