Roise Hillyard - Artist Extraordinaire
Rosie mainly paints portraits of people from photographs but also paints and draws from life. She has been painting since she was 12 years old and regularly does commissions for people, which tend to be gifts.
Photograph or painting? People may prefer commissioning a painting/drawing as opposed to a photograph as it is more unique. You can take thousands of photographs but a paining can seem more original. Paintings or drawings will always be original and often become family heirlooms. A painting is also an artistic interpretation of that person.
